Coca-Cola India dedicates another 300 years old Step well to the community
Shri Ashok Parmar, Mayor of Jaipur, dedicated the 300 years old step well, Kale Hanuman ki Bawri, refurbished by Coca-Cola India to the community recently. This is the second step well being renovated by Coca-Cola India in Rajasthan under the public-private partnership initiative of Jaipur Municipal Corporation. The step well renovated will help improve access to water for domestic purpose.
Coca-Cola revived this Bawari with the participation of Jaipur Municipal Corporation, Expert Hydro geologists, Rajasthan State Ground Water Department, Local temple management and the community. The restoration project work included the removal of silt, rubble, algae; repairs to the site in traditional “Jaipuri” style and reopening of the facility for use. Nearly 5000 residents of the local area will be directly benefited through improved availability of water.
Dedicating the project, Shri Parnami, the mayor stressed that water is a critical global challenge that needs urgent attention of all stakeholders. "I am happy to dedicate the rejuvenated Bawari to the local community and I appreciate Coca-Cola for restoring this Bawari." The mayor also urged the local community to ensure the upkeep of the rejuvenated Bawari.

Coca-Cola also revived Sarai Hanuman ki Bawri, another step well, in Rajasthan to help improve the availability of water in the area.
